It didn't really strike me until recently that I grew up in a slice of Trondheim's history. It's so sad that all the houses have been rebuilt and new ones have been built inbetween them as well. The houses are mismatched and ugly and the street has none of the old rustic charm it used to have.
The house I grew up in (and the rest of the houses on my street, really) were all old and falling to pieces, but they were still so beautiful.
It really makes me sad that I'll never see them the way they used to be. Sigh. |

Honestly, sometimes I really do think I am only a character in a book someone is writing and that all of my memories and thoughts have simply been put there to give me more depth.
But unless zombies or vampires or some other monster bursts out of my closet really soon, I think this would be the most boring book ever. |

Well, sort of. :D In a flowershop! To start with I'll be in on Mondays and Fridays from 9 to 12, and will increase my work hours eventually. I'm starting this coming Monday and I am SO FUCKING EXCITED :D:D:D:D
Oh and apparently my boss lives just up the street and she offered to give me rides to work, at least on Mondays. Sweet. |

I have been searching for the longest time, but have never been able to find any good quality mp3's of the music from Sonic the Hedgehog. Last night however, I FINALLY did... and now my mobile phone has been Sonicified! My ring tone, alarm sound and text message alerts have all been replaced with various music from the original game, which was the first video game I ever played. <3 |

I flooded the bathroom. Again. Second time in two years! Stupid fucking bathroom.
I had clean clothes on the floor, and clean towels. Toilet paper that I bought yesterday. :| I don't think I'll ever want to wear the underwear I had among the clean clothes bunch ever again. Any my favourite bits were in there too! *sadface*
I want a new toilet.
Better yet, I want to move out!
Now I have to go wash my hands.

anyway, this character kinda did a suicide, by absorbing this kid's brain tumor. he was feeling guilty for the death of his little sister when he was 14 years old... she had cancer, and he'd taken her away from the hospital and started to absorb her cancer so that she could live, but he chickened out and stopped, and she died

BUT I STILL HAD A GREAT TIME :D:DDDD:D
Oh, I guess I never actually wrote that I was going to a music festival this weekend. Was just for a day, with family (me, my mum, my aunt, my mum and aunt's friend, and my uncles and cousin were there already), but it was a LOT of fun! The music was awesome (Blondie! Woot! If I ever get to the same age as Debbie Harry is now, I hope I'll have half the amount of spunk as that lady has!), the weather was great and there were lots of (weird) people to watch - there was one guy strutting around in a lime green pimp suit, some other guy that had tied a plastic soda crate to each of his feet and used them as stilts (well, "stilts" anyway - they were WAY too steady! xD) and this girl who was doing some shitty dance with her friends and it was OH MY GOD SO HILARIOUS because it was almost embarassing to watch.
Highlights: Charta 77 (a Swedish punk band) and, of course, Blondie (if you don't know who that is, shame on you). I wanted to catch one more gig with a Norwegian band called 22, but everyone (me included) were too tired after the Blondie gig - it ended at 2 AM and we'd been standing up for so long that it felt like our legs were going to fall off our knees.
Oh yeah, about the beer - as it got later and later I noticed a lot of people were tossing their plastic cups with leftover beer out in front of them. It was 5 minutes until the Blondie gig ended and I was just thinking, "God I'm so glad I haven't been hit"... and then SPLASH. Apparently I jinxed myself. D:
Side note: I keep having to reference my English-Norwegian/Norwegian-English dictionary in order to translate something from English to Norwegian. It's like I don't know my native language anymore, I keep forgetting what stuff is actually called and I have to use the English word(s) for it. @_@;; |
